Is it bad to make your boyfriend choose you over one of his friends?

ok this might seem controlling but i have to ask to make the story short it was yesterday i stayed home from school and my boyfriend was doing some yard work for his grandma with his friend but me and my boyfriend have been arguing for the past two days about how he always promises me stuff and how he lies about stupid little stuff and yeah i can be mean that song by pink reminds me of me ';please don't leave me'; listen to its a good song well back to the story then his friend who he used to work with is getting into our business which was making me mad he was giving me dirty looks and shaking his head at me and telling me to chill then i text him to stay out of it and he texts me back '; grow the f*** up and treat him like a man...wow no wonder his family doesn't like you .... ur a little b**** and a little **** talker'; ok this guy has hung out with me three times he doesn't know my boyfriends family at all and my boyfriends aunt is the only one who doesn't like me.... then i text him back your just a redneck that cant spell or read.... because im spelling what he text me right really he cant spell....so he text me back '; your so f***in childish get over your self you w****'; and i get mad and find out he is testing my boyfriend that he is going to come over and kick my *** or to get his woman to kick my *** and he is calling me and telling me how he is going to kill me in my sleep i didn't tell me boyfriend that part so i tell my boyfriend he can choose me or his friend because your not going to be my boyfriend and be friends with that but he took all off his stuff and left and it took him 7 hours to finally find out that his friend is crazy and his friend was threatening me about calling the cops cause i texts him 3 times and he was the one saying he was going to kill me but i dont know im with my boyfriend now and i still feel confusedd and hurt that he was actually thinking about leaving me just to be friends with this guy that he has known for a month and has hung out with 5 times... well i want to know if i should stay with this guy and if i should report him to the cops and if it was bad for me to make my boyfriend choose?

i don't think it was bad to make him choose, because you Weare beingthreatenedd andthat'ss not fun, but i think that your boyfriend mad a mistake in choosing that Friend and that happens to al of us.. good luck with everything, just keep your eyes open, and do whats best for you.Is it bad to make your boyfriend choose you over one of his friends?
Tell ur BF about this guy!! At first it did sound like you were controlling and paranoid but when you started talking about this other guy saying he was gonna kill you and that he was getting into ur business yeah it's not paranoia!! You need to tell ur BF what this guy is telling you and call the cops ASAP.
