i haven't got any money (as it's the end of the month!!) so going out somewhere or buying him something is not an option and i can't cook him something tonight as he gets home late so we both will have already eaten.

Yes you could always write a note but what guy will really take the time to read it....I suggest maybe having his favorite dessert ready for him when he comes home or favorite night time snack and you two can sit down and talk and tell him you wanna tell him your true feelings before he says a word. after explaining everything maybe he'll be more willing to talk about his feelings and you guys can work everything out and you can tell him when you get paid and have the money you will buy the stuff to make his favorite dinner for him as an added make-up for you two. How about making mini posters (Use printer paper) from the front door onward with ';Sorry'; on one ';I love you'; on another one and so forth and when he gets to you ... Put your best smile on and give him a big hug. Tell him you are so very sorry and can he please give you a big hug back to show he accepts your apology. Take it from there ...

Why don't you just tell him you are really sorry. Actions speak louder than words but sometimes words have to do. Tell him like you told us ';I love you so much and you are so special';. Try to look as nice as you can (its nice when a girl wants to look nice even though you aren't going out) and be extra cuddly. Stroke his ego some too, always makes me feel better
