What do you do to make your boyfriend grow-up? Please help me.?

I have been with this guy for almost four years ans i need him to know that it is time to grow up. He is 19 and will be turning 20 here soon. He plays video games day in and day out. When he isn't playing them he is on the computer playing games. He leaves alot during the week to stay the night at his friends house and they play video games all night. He comes home late in the afternoon and drags *** all day. Some days he even leaves and doesn't tell me where he is going or anything and he goes to his friends. I have to track him down when i have to talk to him. I have brought up the problem many times but the minute i do he shuts down and says that im picking on him. Just like a little kid will. His parents even see it and he thinks they are picking on him too. I love him but i don't know how much more i can take. He says that im the reason we fight because i keep him on a leash. (which i don't as you can tell) But sometimes i do ask him to stay home and hang out with me. Well hew just gets on the computer or reads a magazine while im trying to talk to him. How can i make him see that he needs to grow up or its over? I've told him straight up before but its seems that he just goes right back to his old ways. Please help me.What do you do to make your boyfriend grow-up? Please help me.?
he is wasting your life, leave him and never get back with him. is sad to see that he doesn't care about the relationship that he have right now. break up with him and let him learn his own lesson. why would you be with him all these years while you could meet another guy and having fun to hangout. i usually don't tell people to break up with their boyfriend/girlfriend, but this is unacceptable. you are doing a good thing by teaching him a lesson in life that love is valuable and you could also benefit from this break up by meeting new people. he have more interest in reading a magazine than talking to you, means that his point of view on the relationship doesn't mean as much as yours.





and my guess with be many people will give you the same answer. but is your choice not one point a gun on your head to make you end this relationship. follow what your heart says.What do you do to make your boyfriend grow-up? Please help me.?
You can't make him grow up. He has to do that on his own. Honestly, i dont see anything wrong with him, lol. Except maybe he isnt giving you enough attention. There isnt anything wrong with playing video games alot. You didnt say if he has a job though.
Stick by your promise and leave him. That's the only way he's going to get it. If he does indeed grow up and matures and wants to get back together give him another chance. If not, you saved yourself anymore heart ache.

my b.f is 20 and wont get off his lazy *** and do S**t all!! except when he is hungry. and man we fight a lot! i cant really tell you how to handle the situation but i did what i said and kicked him out!! ( only for a few days though) maybe if you do that he will realize you mean more to him that he shows you and he might miss you a lot and want to be there more often before he cant :) hope this helps
