How do you make out with your boyfriend if the first time didnt work well ?

kk sooo me and my boyfriend were at my friends party and we started making out and its was our first time and we've been dating for a 1 year now and everythings been good but like as i was saying our first time and ya i know people mess up but he like looked like he was eating me cause he went mouth open first didnt start off with just plain kisisng and moving up slowly .... well our first time i pulled away cause i couldnt do anything and its no fun when you cant and junk and i felt bad and i was gunna start over but i didnt think of it till after when people started running in the room .. and now i wanna try again and i've waited 2 months since the first time but idk how to start .. if ya know what i mean soo can ya help ?How do you make out with your boyfriend if the first time didnt work well ?
