I'm not asking you to tell me to break up with him, but how to make the relationship better.How do you get your boyfriend to take you seriously?
I'm a guy. And I take is seriously with my girl because that's what I want something serious. But, you cant not get him to do what you want. It has to come naturally. So, if I was you I would just take it seriously either cause if you do you will get hurt. Well you have to fight him every step of the way and throw a huge fit, you have to emasculate him and not do anything for him. You also got to use everything god gave you to make his life hell if he doesnt take you seriously.
I know this sounds kinda counter productive but the reason he does this is because you gave him all the control in the relationship and he does whatever he wants with impunity. You need to stand up for yourself and take control over the relationship, most likely youll fight over it which leads to equal power distribution and an extremely fulfilling relationship.
But if you dont, hell do this for as long as he wants to be with you.
The best way to make your bf apreciate you is to make him work for you. don't threaten to break up with him or he may think you're a b***h and dump you himself. But you must be the boss, and remind him why he loves you in the first place. Tease him, kiss him, cuddle him so he wants more and that way you'll have his full attention. Also give him space sometimes.
But you should also talk to him about how you feel. Sit him down, and if he doesn't take you seriously, or just jokes around, be patient and show him you're serious. Some guys are just slow.

The best thing is to make sure you guys are somewhere where you are completely alone. And make sure you tell him that it is serious. Make sure you don't smile or laugh at all, because he will think you are joking. Just talk to him in a serious tone, and tell him flat out if he doesn't take you serious you will just get up and leave (even if its not true and you wont, it helps to say it.) Good Luck. repetition.. they usually don't get it the first time around, especially if its something they don't understand or something that they don't think is wrong. just keep telling them how you feel, or how you think a certain problem could be fixed.. drill it into them and eventually they will show you that they understand and that they were listening they just didn't know exactly waht to do at first. or you might even think hes not listening but he really is and just doesnt know what to do to fix the problem.. keep telling him, and give him ways of finding a sollution/ compromise. it will sink in give him some time.
talk to him and tell him that its serious stuff your talking to him about. and if he doesn't act serious then just tell him to grow up and be serious, im sure he will act more serious if you tell him to.
That time talk and act seriously with him.You have to talk slowly about your issues.When you say on the somethings him, be cool and try to be relax.
